For Eric Gautier, CEO of the MG-Tech group, “carrying out sponsorship actions linked to the sea is closely linked to the roots of the company whose head office is based in in Vendée. It was therefore obvious to focus on sailing because the values of this sport are in line with ours: risk taking, daring, travel, performance ... this notion of adventure goes perfectly with our desire to accelerate export sales. "

A whole program has been set up internally and externally with the Eole Performance teams. We are fortunate to support a committed skipper. He supports with conviction the Water Family association whose mission is to educate about the preservation of water, our health and all living things.

The entire MG-Tech team is already on deck!

Benjamin Dutreux, a determined sailor

  • 30 years old, including 17 on the water
  • Businessman and experienced technician, 8 years in the nautical industry
  •  A competitive spirit and a tower of strength
  • A sailor committed to the preservation of water and our planet
  • Very nice man

"Born in Villeneuve d'Ascq (in North of France), I spent all my childhood on the Ile d'Yeu where I started sailing at the age of 8! From middle school and up to high school, I sail all the weeks. At 16, I joined the young French team and became World Champion in the SL16 Catamaran in 2008.

Loving as much the technical as the sporting aspect of sailing, I started an integrated preparation in an engineering school, then branched out to a DUT in Materials Science and Engineering. In parallel with my studies, I was trained by Luc Pillot, former 470 champion at the Olympic Games, and won two titles of Champion of France and one of Europe in a crewed J80. "
